Large pink peony like blooms appearing from early Spring. A magnificent upright and compact shrub with glossy dark leaves.

Height and Spread: 1.2 m (4ft) high and 1.2 m (4ft) spread.

Position: Prefers a sheltered spot in sun or semi-shade in any well drained organically enriched acid soil or compost.

Planting: Soak the root-ball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the root-ball or pot. Mix an organic soil improver and general fertiliser with the infill soil. Water regularly until established.

Plant Care: Frost hardy, but needs shelter from cold north and east winds. Open blooms may be damaged by late Spring frosts - especially on sunny, exposed sites. Remove unwanted branches immediately after flowering.
